Woodpex X - Apex Locator

Woodpex X from Woodpecker is an apex locator to determine the length of the root canal.

Woodpex X features a revolutionary MHN mode . This mode is a game-changer in locating calcified root canal orifices and improving precision during endodontic treatments. The MHN mode is designed to assist in the following 3 parts of root canal procedures:

• Locating the pulp chamber during access cavity preparation.
• Easily identify heavily calcified root canal openings.
• Identifying leaks in non-electroconductive root canal fillings (such as gutta-percha).

Connect Woodpex X to a suitable endo motor for real-time monitoring observation of the position of the file in the root canal. The tone velocity increases as the tip approaches the apical foramen. Once the tip reaches the apical stop, the Woodpex X emits a continuous tone.
